Default Baked cheese cake

Would anyone have the recipe for a baked cheese cake, using Duncan Hines Yellow cake mix.You used some of the cake mix for the bottom crust and the rest of the cake mix went in with the cream cheese mixture then you baked it. It used to be on the bake of the yellow cake mix.I just can't find it. Maybe someone out htere has it.

Here's a recipe that sounds similar. If you don't care for lemon, you could replace the lemon extract with vanilla extract.

Carol

LEMON CHEESE BARS
(Source: Quick Cooking Sept./Oct. 2003)

1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
2 eggs
1/3 c. canola oil
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon extract

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, one egg and oil until crumbly. Set aside 1 cup for topping. Press the remaining crumb mixture into a greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in the sugar, extract and remaining egg until smooth. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture.

Bake for 25-30 minutes longer or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.

WHOOPS! Sorry about that.......I don't think I've seen that recipe but will keep an eye out for it. It sounds REALLY good....was it made in a 13x9 inch pan or a springform pan...do you remember? I've got a couple more books that possibly could have it but I might be able to narrow it down with the type of pan.

Thanks! We're not giving up yet......
