Default dense cake for stacking...
I am going to make a dump truck cake for my Grandson's 2nd birthday this week. I need to stack 2 loaf cakes for the bed of truck and split another and carve the cab. I would like to use DH devils foods because I am covering with marshmallow fondant. I am unsure if I can bake reg cake in a loaf pan and if I need to alter ingredients. I would love to hear what anyone can offer for advice. Thanks so much.
