I am searching for a recipe that uses a yellow cake mix with both instant chocolate and vanilla pudding. The cake also has chocolate chips in the batter. Thanks, kinghigh

The only recipes I can find are with a choc. cake mix and choc. pudding mix.

YUMMY CHOCOLATE CAKE 1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix 1 (8 oz.) sour cream 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding 3 eggs 1/2 c. oil 1/2 c. water 6-12 oz. milk chocolate chips (12 oz. is better but not more) 1 c. pecans 1 German chocolate bar, grated (reserve 1/2 c. for icing) ICING: 1 stick butter 1 box powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 c. pecans (optional) 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 inch glass pan. Combine, mix well, cake mix, sour cream, pudding, eggs, oil and water. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Combine all but 1/2 cup grated chocolate bar (save it for decorating). Bake 45 minutes or until cake begins to shrink from sides of pan. ICING: Cream together butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar. Fold in pecans and vanilla. Sprinkle top with remaining chocolate. |
