Makes one 9-inch pie</p>For the crust:
1 9-inch , unbaked

For the filling:
1/2 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the garnish:
1/8 teaspoon salt
Freshly whipped, sweetened cream
Chopped peanuts, optional


Make the crust:
1. Preheat oven to 425&deg;.
2. Sprinkle chopped peanuts on bottom of unbaked pie crust; set aside.
Make the filling:
1. In a medium mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, blend corn syrup and Jif peanut butter until smooth.
2. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add sugar, vanilla and salt; mix until smooth.
Assemble the pie:
1. Pour filling into crust, over chopped peanuts. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350&deg; and bake an additional 25 minutes.
2. Cool pie completely on a wire rack before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and chopped peanuts, if desired. </p></td><td style="width: 186px" valign="top">
