Default White Chocolate Toffee Blondies

WHITE CHOCOLATE TOFFEE BLONDIES
(Source: CELEBRATE magazine)

1/2 c. butter, melted
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (11 oz.) pkg. white chocolate morsels
1 c. toffee bits
Confectioners' sugar for garnish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil, allowing foil to extend about 2" over sides of pan. Spray foil with nonstick baking spray with flour; set aside.

In a large bowl, combine butter and sugars; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.

In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, beating at low speed until blended. Stir in white chocolate morsels and toffee bits.

Press batter into prepared pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan.

Using foil as handles, lift bars from pan. Cut into squares. Sift confectioners' sugar over top if desired. Makes 2 dozen.
