got this recipe from my Cooking Club of America magazine.
We tried these a few weeks back and they were so good. 3 lbs chicken wings (about 18) 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 Tbsp minced fresh ginger 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 18 slices bacon, halved crosswise With heavy knife remove the wing tips and discard (or save for stock) Separate wings at joint to make 36 pieces. Combine all ingredients except bacon in large bowl. Add wings; stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 18 hrs (We did overnight) turning occasionally Heat oven to 425 deg. Line large rimmed baking sheet with foil; lightly spray with cooking spray (don't forget like we did, it stuck a little) Remove wings from marinade; discard marinade. Pat wings dry. Wrap half slice bacon around each wing; place seam side down on baking sheet. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and bacon is browned. oh...........my............ please try this.... so good.

What a different idea-wrapping the wings in bacon......thanks Christine!
Know what I wanna know? When and WHY THE HECK did chicken wings spiral up in price? I remember getting them for 89 cents a pound! Now????????? a 5 lb. bag of frozen wings-just plain old chicken wings............10.99 a bag...........REALLY? I don't think so.................good grief I get boneless chicken breasts cheaper on sale! And NO BONES...............

I got the bag before the price jumped, I saw that too! they are just wings people!!! he he
You could do a variation with chicken tenders on this recipe... ooooh and it won't take long in the oven either with no bones!

Carol, if you do the tenders, obviously don't put them in the oven that long either. Since they are boneless.
I would try a test run of one or two tenders first, and then judge the timing. Since the recipe is for bone in wings, do your magic with the timing....
