OMG, finally made these on Sat. They are so good!! I did it with coconut cream pudding and the toasted coconut. I added some coconut extract because I didn't have the flavoring. Wow! The coconut rice krispies are keepers. They were gone yesterday!! Hubby pigged out on them!! lol lol

PERFECT! Aren't they good Carol? They're doggone addictive. I don't blame your hubby for pigging out on them-I could too.
Thanks for letting me know you tried them. Let me know if you make them with another pudding flavor. I found some strawberry cream instant pudding at Super Walmart today...uh oh..........

Carol, I will let you know if I try another flavor. I will have to check and see if our Super Walmart has the strawberry flavor. It would be interesting to see the color of the treats. I cut the treats into small pieces so I wouldn't pig out. Hubby took 3 pieces at a time because he thought it equaled 1 piece!! They are really addictive. lol

I was surprised to see the strawberry pudding mix yesterday Carol. They had it a couple years ago and I really liked it....last year I couldn't find it. Glad I went snooping down that aisle yesterday!
I did what you did! Cut the bars in small pieces-for portion control. Bob does what your husband does......3=1 regular size. He does the same thing with mini breads-1/3 of the loaf if you stretched the slice out would equal 1 regular loaf slice......... Men.........sigh.............

Carol, My hubby is thin and thinks he should eat 24/7. If hubby runs out of his bread, he goes to the store and gets another loaf plus whatever else he feels like getting. I would love to be able to keep him out of the stores. Men.......

Boy I wish I could eat like that again-used to be able to when I was younger. Could eat like a horse and never gain weight. What the HECK happened?
It's a nonstop struggle to control weight here-sometimes it goes better than others. Stinks when you love to cook and bake too..........

I used to be able to eat like that too until I hurt my back. It has been a struggle since then. It could be that we are getting older. lol lol Having to weigh every Wed. morning helps me to keep on track. If I didn't have that I would be trying a new recipe everyday. lol lol One of the ladies took 24 yrs. to get to her goal. She said it is worse now to stay at her weight goal. Hopefully that does not happen to me!

Yeah I think getting older has a lot to do with it too. I'm active now, but not as active as when I was younger.
We have to get back on the bandwagon here soon............once we get into the mode we're fine......it's the first week or so that's tough. Wow-24 years for that woman to reach her goal? Kudos to her for sticking it out and making it! I agree-even though it's hard to get the weight off-especially for women-keeping it off is a lot harder. It's very easy to fall back into the habits that start the trouble......I know..........

I plan on staying on the bandwagon, I walk when I can, and I'm always working in the yard and garden. I eat a lot of fruit and veggies in the summer, but in the winter I want comfort foods. Winter is the hardest for me. Good luck to getting back on the bandwagon.
