You Will Need:
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
Pan Size / Bake Time:
- 8" x 8": 35-38 minutes
- 9" x 9": 30-33 minutes
- Makes 16 Brownies
- Prep: PREHEAT oven to 350°F for glass or metal pans, 325°F for dark or non-stick pans. GREASE bottom of pan with shortening or cooking spray.
- Mix: EMPTY brownie mix, egg(s), water and oil in large bowl. STIR until well blended (about 50 strokes). Real milk chocolate chunks will be visible after stirring. SPREAD into greased pan and bake immediately.
- Bake: BAKE following times listed. ADD 3-5 minutes for dark or non-stick pans. Brownies are done when toothpick inserted an inch from the edge of pan comes out clean. COOL completely in pan on wire rack before cutting and serving.
Lower Fat Recipe:Prepare and bake brownies following directions above except using 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon water and 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce. Reduce baking time 1-2 minutes.
High Altitude (over 3,500 ft.):
High Altitude Directions:Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir 3 tablespoons flour into brownie mix and prepare according to above directions.
