It's the 'köstlich' topping on these German Chocolate Brownies that will take your taste buds on a whirlwind European adventure.
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Milk Chocolate Chunk Decadent Brownie Mix
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease bottom of 8x8-inch pan.
- Combine brownie mix, egg, water and oil in large bowl. Stir with spoon until well blended, about 50 strokes. Spread into prepared pan.
- Combine brown sugar, butter and flour in small bowl. Mix until well blended. Stir in pecans and coconut. Sprinkle mixture over batter.
- Bake at 350°F for 35 to 38 minutes, or until topping is browned. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

Just looking do do something different with brownies! Now I have Sunday night dessert! I'll have it with coffee ice cream. Hope its good.

I made these served them warm with ice cream, they were a hit. Just as good cold, though.
