I made this using cream cheese flavor pudding and 1 tsp of vanilla and it came out fabously. I'm going to do it again but I'm also going to try it with Chocolate Fudge Cake instead of the brownies just for a different texture.

Not really getting step number 4. in the baking instructions; are you supposed to mix the vanilla instant pudding and pie filling and the whipped topping together or do you leave them separate?

This question may seem strange however: Many recipes call for 'non-dairy' whipped topping like Cool Whip. A small container weight is 8 oz, In ounces a cup measure is also 8 oz. If you measure out the cool whip one cup does not equal the whole container. So, when it says 1 cup or 2 cups of topping are you using the weight measure or are you actually measuring it out in a measuring cup?

I found the answer to my question! One (1) Eight (8) ounce container of non-dairy whip topping is equal to three (3) cups.

Killer recipe. Can't really go wrong with chocolate brownie and whipped cream. I made this twice and the second time turned out better, cooling the brownie in the fridge for an hour before the whipped cream makes it alot easier to spread.

This is hands down my favorite Duncan Hines recipe. The vanilla pudding really makes the layers taste so good. What a clever use for brownie mix!
