Double Dose of Mint Brownies, modified version of a family recipe
- 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Mint Chocolate Flavor Mix and 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 cups Sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup dark cocoa (Hershey's Special Dark)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- about 1 cup Andes Mint pieces
- 1. In a large sauce pan, melt margarine (remove from heat after melted)
- 2. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, cocoa, salt and stir until completely mixed
- 3. Add about 1/2 cup of Andes mint pieces to the batter
- 4. Spread into greased 9x13 pan
- 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
- 6. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Mint Chocolate Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
- 7. Once cooled, frost brownies with Duncan Hines Mint Frosting Creations
- 8. Sprinkle Andes Mint pieces on top of frosting
- 9. Enjoy!
