Made this, only I added 1/2 t Butter "extract" and used 1/2 c mini choc chips and 1/2 c white chocolate chips. Even my picky husband liked them! :) Also, I used only 1/8 c sugar.

I was hoping to find a cookie recipe I could make with a cake mix, and since I only use Duncan Hines cake mixes, I came to this site. Little did I know I would be hooked from the very first recipe I tried, which was this one! These cookies are out of this world! If you love chocolate, and you can stir, you can make these cookies and enjoy them yourself....or be nice and share them with your family!

Cookies are cooling; of course, I had to sample one hot out of the oven. Yum!!! A keeper recipe for sure. I followed the recipe but look forward to trying it with peanut butter chips next time.

SO easy, delicious and quick. "These are evil", to quote daughter. We are not chocolate fans most of the time. Ever now and then the craving hits. Besides my grandson is a FAN of chocolate. This snowy day required some baking. This will be my go to chocolate craving satisfying easy to do recipe. even if there are no chips or nuts these would be fab. Warm cookies, cold milk Perfect!

Scrumptious! I only had about 1/2 cup chocolate chips. I added Heath Toffee chips to the chocolate chips to make 1 cup total. Before mixing the chips and the nuts in, I melted 1 ounce (1 square) of unsweetened chocolate and added it to the other ingredients. Then added the chips and nuts. So good!

I made these for a company picnic and added nuts and peanut butter chips. So good. They were gone in record time and I've had repeat requests for me to make them. A favorite recipe.

My Boyfriend and I made these for a cookie contest and won 1st place.
Instead of nuts, we put 1/4 cup of peanut butter chips, 1/4 cup of butterscoch chips, 1/2 cup of heath toffe, and just a hand full of chocolate chunks.
VERY GOOD!!! just add what you want to it!
