found this recipe and enjoyed . yes it is a stiff dough but that what makes it good. my husband thought that they worked best when you dipped them in coffee. 1 or 2 was all we needed to have at a time.

These are not cookies. They are goey flat brownies. The dough is VERY thick and it burned out my hand mixer (which is great during the holidays). When making the batter you could really taste the expresso, however when cooked, the chocolate becomes overwhelming. They are really chewy brownie cookies with no crunch at all. I do not recommend them and will not make them again. I second that they do not look anything like the picture. They are also hard to scoop because the dough is so goey, I had to wet my spoon with hot water between each scoop.

This reciped isn't turning out like the picture for me. The cookies aren't spreading so I added a bit more water.

When I made these they came out a lot thicker than shown in the above picture, and I used chocolate chunks instead of kisses mixed right into the cookies.

These cookies were great. I was a little nervous about making them (I'm a rookie baker), but even I was able to make them.

These cookies stay nice and chewy. A big hit with my family.
