Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups will give chocoholics and peanut butter lovers a reason to say "Wow!" Made with delicious Duncan Hines Swiss Chocolate Cake Mix, they are perfect for birthday parties, school lunch boxes, block parties, or anytime.

Ingredients Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place 30 paper baking cups in muffin cups.
  2. Prepare, bake and cool cupcakes according to package directions.
  3. Combine frosting and peanut butter in medium bowl. Stir until smooth. Frost one cupcake. Decorate with peanut butter cup candy, cut-side down. Repeat with remaining cupcakes and candies.

I use any brownie mix and stick a peanut butter cup in the center before baking. They're wonderful!

I think I might put the pb cup in after they bake and put hole cover on top o cupcake when done

Works well, just don't push the pb cup down into the batter. If you do they will sink to to bottom. Just set it in the top.

Yes, freeze the resse's cups before hand and they wont sink to the bottom so they will not burn(:

I've mixed peanut butter into my buttercream frosting (with granulated sugar) and it came out great.

I made these the morning of hurricane Irene. They were so yummie along with a great thank you to my neighbor for hooking up a generator for us! BIG HIT they loved them
