Bazinga? For a couple of reasons. One because I just love that word from Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang Theory. Second because of the Raspberry Zinger tea which I used within the cupcake batter.
- 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ White Chocolate Raspberry Flavor Mix and 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
- 1 Box Duncan Hines Classic White Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of water (plus teabags)
- 1/4 cup oil
- 4 Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger Tea Bags
- Fresh Raspberries
- Raspberry Dark Chocolate M&M's
- Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ White Chocolate Raspberry Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Place cupcake liners in cupcake pans; set aside.
- Fill a microwavable cup with just slightly over 1 cup of water. Add 4 tea bags. Microwave for 2 minutes. Remove, allow to steep until cool. Squeeze out tea bags.
- Prepare cake mix according to box direction, using Raspberry Zinger infused water.
- Fill cupcake liners.
- Bake 18-21 minutes.
- Cool completely before decorating.
- Fill pastry bag with White Chocolate Raspberry Frosting, ice cupcakes. Take one Raspberry M&M and place in top of raspberry. Place on top of cupcake.
- NOTE: To Butterfly Cupcakes, Remove cupcake wrapper. Gently cut cupcake in half. Place round sides together. Top with decoration.

Can I use regular Duncan Hines frosting with the flavor mix?

I'm sure you can, but I'm thinking the results will not be the same. I myself find this icing to be an icing quite enjoy; which says a lot since I'm a picky pants. I'd ask Duncan Hines on Facebook what the biggest difference would be.

Thank you so much! They do look yummy, and they were... but they are raspberries =) Made them again for work and they absolutely loved the cake too. Infusing tea for flavor is a good thing.

Using the tea is a great idea. The m&m's in the raspberries are a perfect touch!

Thank you, though Sheldon Cooper probably would take all the credit from me, right? LOL
