These are large Strawberries and granny smith apple wedges dipped in melted Frosting creations, Bubble gum and orange
- 1/2 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Orange Crème Flavor Mix and 1/2 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
- 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Bubble Gum Flavor Mix and 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
- 24 Large Strawberries
- 4 granny smith apples
- 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate for decoration
- Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Orange Crème Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
- Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Bubble Gum Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
- cut apples into four wedges. Cut the core part and discard.
- Wash and dry strawberries w/ paper towel.
- Melt the frosting in the containers at power #3 for about one minute..
- Attach strawberries and apples to skewers or any sturdy plastic picks.
- Dip fruit into the frosting and arrange in a vas or any container.
- Decorate w/ melted chocolate using piping bag and round tip #2 (optinal)

Yes, you can do this on cake pops. DIp the cake pops into the icing then decorate w/ melted chocolate. On this I combined orange and bubble gum frosting creations. I like to combine flavors.

How does the frosting harden on the fruit?

Make sure that the surface of the strawberries are dry not wet.... the icing dries on it like chocolate when cooled... Just don't touch it. It is very smooth as long as there are no smudges on it from touching..
