Recipe Description
This is the easiest, most intensely chocolate frosting. It is fabulous.
Ingredients Baking Instructions
  • 8 oz. package of semisweet chocolate bits
  • 8 oz. of sour cream
  • 1 tsp. Grand Marnier or orange extract
  • Pinch of salt
  1. Melt the chocolate bits in the microwave.
  2. Stir in the sour cream and other ingredients.
  3. You can't let this frosting sit around before you apply it, it will harden quickly.

I used this recipe on the Orange Soak Cake....It was fantastic....
I cut the confectioners's sugar to about 1/2-3/4 cup.... and for the frosting I used LITE Sour Cream and Orange Extract (Watkins)
And....Yes, dkonfused1....it did harden quickly with the extract also!

This was great. I tried it also with a little peach schnapps, but it wasn't as good.

I used orange extract instead of Grand Marnier and it was still fabulous!

Zebelle said with the Grand Marnier it would harden quick, did it do so with the orange extract?
