Donuts made from bisquits, great last-minute dessert, and kids love to decorate! Enjoy!
- 2 cans any bisquits regular or large
- 2 cups cooking oil
- 2 cans Duncan Hnes Frosting, yur choice (Fun Frosters is excellent)
- Optional: sprinkles, candies, chips, nuts, fruit, etc.
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powder or white sugar
- May also use brown sugar or sugar sub.
- Strawberry jelly, pudding, lemon, cherry, or filling of choice
- Open bisquits, lay on large tray or plate to expand a 1 or 2 minutes.
- Remove center with small spoon .
- You may also just place hole in center or leave as is and fill later.
- Heat oil in large pan.
- Drop bisquits (donuts) 4 at a time, expand.
- Turn when edges appear slightly brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Cool-completely.
- Frost, fill, decorate, and enjoy!
- Use your imagination frost, fill, and decorate, kids love the decorations(ONLY ADULTS SHOULD FRY DONUTS!).

These really are a quick and easy treat to make. My mom use to make them for us on the weekends. Its been a long time since I've had them,seeing this recipe sure does bring back memories. I have a daughter of my own now and I'm sure she would love to make them together.

My friend and I made these today as a trial run for a bake sale that we are holding and they were really easy to make and were quite tasty.
