A delicious light chocolate marshmallow mousse finished off with salty pretzel crumbs. An easy and quick treat for all ages to enjoy.
- 1 packet of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Chocolate Marshmallow Flavor Mix
- 1 can of Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups of pretzels
- small dessert glasses or bowls
- 1. Place mixing bowl and hand mixer wisks or electric mixer wisks into freezer. Metal bowls are best.
- 2. Set aside a few pretzels for top desserts. Crush remaining pretzels into small bits.
- 3. Pour pack of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Chocolate Marshmallow Flavor Mix into can of Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter. Stir until evenly blended.
- 4. When mixing bowl and wisks are cold pour heavy whipping cream in cold bowl and beat on high until peaks form. If desired set aside a cup or two for topping.
- 5. Beat in Duncan Hines Marshmallow Frosting one spoonful at a time until well blended.
- 6. Line the bottom of each dessert cup/bowl with crushed pretzels.
- 7. Pipe or spoon an equal amount of chocolate mousse into each dessert cup/bowl.
- 8. Top with set aside whipped topping, and pretzel bits. Serve immediately
