Caramelized fruit.
- 4 cups seeded watermelon balls
- 1 cup sliced nectarines
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur or orange juice
- One 8oz. carton sour cream
- 2 tsp. finely shredded lime peel
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Arrange fruit in 4 dessert bowl. Drizzle with orange liqueur.
- Combine sour cream and lime peel. Spoon mixture over fruit.
- To caramelize the sugar, in a small, heavy saucepan cook sugar over med.-high heat until sugar begins to melt.
- Do not stir. Once it starts to melt, reduce heat to low. Cook 5 mins more. Quickly drizzle over each serving.
