Ingredients

1 cup butter, melted and cooled

1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 pkg (15.25 oz each) Duncan Hines® Classic Yellow Cake Mix

1 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces

1/2 cup chopped pecans
-
1/3 cup white chocolate chips
-
1/3 cup peanut butter chips
-
1/4 cup holiday confetti sprinkles

1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions

Step one
Adjust oven racks to upper and lower third of oven and preheat oven to 350°F.

Blend cooled melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined, about a minute. Pour in cake mix and flour and continue mixing just until blended. Stir in candy, pecans, white chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.

Step three
Scoop cookie dough into 2 tablespoon portions and roll into balls. Place sprinkles in a small bowl. Flatten cookie dough balls into 2-inch discs and press top of each into sprinkles. Place 8 cookies on a large baking sheet, evenly spaced.

Step four
Bake 2 pans of cookies at a time, placing one in top third of oven and one in bottom third. Bake 14 to 16 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Rotate pans halfway through baking for even cooking.

Step five
Remove cookies from oven and cool on pans 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely. Melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Spread about a teaspoon of melted chocolate on each PEEPS® marshmallow and place each on top of a cookie. Serve and enjoy these delicious Christmas cookies!
